Painting and First Pass Wiring done in TV Room!

Yay! I have a wicked head (sinus) cold. But that isn't what we are celebrating. I have finished the painting in the TV room. The last two pictures show the walls which are a dark khaki color which goes really well with the Christ Image that we have on the mantel as well as dovetail nicely into the colors of the bordeaux couch we have. The first image shows the work that I have personally done. Here are 3 of the feedthrus for the surround sound, ethernet and subwoofer cables. As you can see they patch right thru the floors and then (not shown) patch up behind where the couch is with identical faceplates. Now we're just waiting on some specialty surge resistant electrical sockets for the TV equipment that we'll install in the walls directly. We will be adding the in wall HDMI and electrical sockets when the later arrive. *Then* the TV room will be done (and we can add all the furniture back. I still need to get in the foundations and secure the cables, but till today, I haven't had Shell around to watch little ones while I am in the Deeps). All of this work is preparatory for us to the mounting of our Plasma in the corner where the naked torchier is standing. I have nearly completed the taping (need to just tape behind the fridge. Ugh!) and Maman will be coming over tonight to give us an extra set of hands for that.
On the other side of the equation, Madeleine's team finished 3rd overall in Soccer and advanced into the quarterfinals in the Tournament. We are proud of her. She has also (as of yesterday) did her first Basketball practice. She has a certain amount of grace and balance, which will help her well in the sport and is working (with lots of motivation on our parts) to develop the fundamentals. The twins are both healthy and very excited that Shell isn't working this week.

We are taping the kitchen, while we try to recover from illness and lethargy.
