Big step done to increase our fun...

Twins still sick. Isabelle is healthy now and school bound (Yay!). Michelle is working hard at the hospital. Neither she or I are feeling our best. We are likely coming down with something...

As I mentioned before, I have been working on painting and remodeling our Entertainment room. Well, hurray for us, I finally finished the Surround Sound wiring. I have had these high quality speakers for *some* time and now we will be finally able to use them. I have snaked the high end bi-amp Canare cables and sub-woofer cable in the foundations of our house. I still need to tack them up and clean them up, but I will save that for a later day, because regrettably, I can only get that kind of work done when I have someone able to watch the tribes. I sunk all of the cables into the ground and installed junction boxes with feedthrus for both the RCA subwoofer cables as well as the higher end locking Banana Cables that installed personally on my Canare bi-amp cables. In the end, it should dramatically improve the sound quality once the TV and my Yamaha Receiver is ready. And there is no unsightly cables for kids to trip over, etc. I did create patch cables for between the floorplates and the speakers, but those will be nigh invisible after the couch is back in place. I have one of my friends, Scott, building me a Powered Subwoofer, to replace the one lost by Good Guys, so I am almost ready to watch some serious Blu-Ray Bond in the near future.

Next up, the second to last coat of paint in the room tonight. Tomorrow morning, I will see about getting the twins to watch a movie so I can do the last coat of paint after the bigguns are at school. Then it is the final curing time and we can move most of the furniture back in to the room!

Now, that will be an accomplishment!!

You'll have to take pictures for those of us who are not within the same general area (as much as I would love a visit up to WA, I don't think that's going to happen any time soon...).

Miss and love you all -- Tash
