Baby Ben's Blessing and meeting Noah Tate for the first time...

This has been a busy weekend for our family. Aunt Amy has come up from balmy Jacksonville and has been visiting (till her flight tonight at midnight). The big girls had a sleepover at Grandma Bernadette's pad on Friday. I had a 6:50 flight to Oakland on Saturday to visit both Andrew and Miranda (my Beloved's brother and his wife) as well as help participate in the blessing of my sister's new baby boy, Ben.

It was really pleasant going down and being able to spend some quality time with both my sis and Andrew and Miranda. Andrew is finishing up his law school experience, and with his clerkship is more busy that a beehive. Natacha, my sis, has 4 kids, works .75 as an attorney and they have moved into a new home in Mountain House, CA. In other words, I haven't seen them either in just under two years. In fact the last time I saw Natacha was the blessing of her 18 month old daughter, Emma. Andrew and Miranda I have not seen in over 2 years, maybe 3. Sheesh! Time flies when you have twins and life has become crazy.

Addendum:

The first picture above is that of Benjamin Jacob Epley. At about 2 month old, he is still fresh from heaven and spends most of his time sleeping, feeding and creating diapertastrophies. The Epley family is thrilled of his coming. So are we.

The last top two pictures above are of little Noah Tate Gordon. It was a bit funny as the first time I heard his name, it sounded like his name as "No Tate". As Andrew is becoming an attorney (and very likely a notary as well), the fact that he named his second son "Notate" made me chuckle inside to no ends as it sounds like Andrew was really busy with his school work. All joking aside, Noah was a blast to watch as he ambled around, regaled in my cellphone and kept both Andrew and Miranda on their toes. Jessie and Eathan are sooo big and articulate!! They both smoked my backside on the Wii as well. Actually, I wonder about how much time Andrew spends studying with his l33t Wii skillz. He beat all of us handily.
